Background:
The Leisure Consultancy, supported by Deloitte, was commissioned by East Renfrewshire Council to undertake a Review of Leisure Centre Programming and Staffing focussing on 2 key leisure centres.
The purpose of the study was:
- to ensure that the centres optimised opportunities to drive revenue thereby delivering value for money
- to recommend staffing and management structures that delivered a good quality of service
- to make sure that the programmes of activity promoted met identified need and demand
- and to achieve cost savings
